The Buchla Archives works constantly to maintain and catalog our own collection of Buchla instruments and documentation. Outside of this work, though, we act as a resource for university music studios, museums, collectors, and musicians looking for help to restore or gather information about their own vintage Buchla instruments.

For the past twenty years, we have offered services ranging from module repair and system restoration to insurance appraisals—and, on rare occasions, facilitation of private sales. Our restoration portfolio covers thousands of individual modules and instruments, including most modules from the 100, 200, and 300 series, as well as instruments such as the Touché, 400, and 700.

We also offer support to publications, researchers, and students who need information, photographs, or documentation pertaining to Donald Buchla's life and work.
